🏒 Insurance Acquisition Intelligence

Find agencies ready to sell β€” before they hire a broker.

I score 40,000+ independent agencies on the signals that come before every sale. You get a monthly shortlist for your territory. No guesswork. No waiting for the phone to ring.

Data Points Per Agency

You're competing for deals everyone else already sees.

Most acquisition targets come through three channels: a banker calls, a broker reaches out, or someone at a conference mentions they're "exploring options."

By then, Hub and Acrisure already know. You're bidding against firms with 10x your resources on deals that are already in play.

The agencies you really want β€” the ones that haven't started shopping yet β€” are invisible to you.

The owner who's 62 with no succession plan. The agency that lost three producers last year. The book that's been flat for five years while the owner coasts toward retirement.

Those signals are hiding in public data. I built a system to find them.

Three data layers most acquirers never look at.

1

Licensing & Tenure

State departments publish every producer license in America. I track principal tenure, license lapses, and whether there's a next generation licensed at the agency. When a 30-year veteran has no successor on file, that's a signal.

2

Carrier Appointments

Carrier appointment filings show which agencies are adding relationships and which are letting them lapse. An agency that hasn't added a new carrier in 3 years looks very different from one that added four last quarter.

3

Team Trajectory

Producer headcount, new hires, departures. An agency that went from 12 producers to 7 over three years is telling you something β€” even if the owner isn't saying it out loud.

A monthly shortlist. Not a database.

I'm not selling you a login with 40,000 rows. You need the 15–30 agencies in your region most likely to transact in the next 12–18 months.

Specialty acquirers looking for niche books

Looking for agencies with specific carrier appointments or lines of business? I can filter for that.

I'm a data guy who went deep on insurance.

I'm Dhruv. I run FundedList, where I've helped 100+ companies build AI-powered sales pipelines. Last year, I got obsessed with insurance distribution β€” specifically the question of whether you could predict which agencies are going to sell before they come to market.

Turns out you can. Not perfectly. But the signals are there if you know where to look.

I've pulled licensing data from every state, built carrier appointment tracking across 40,000+ agencies, and scored them on the patterns that precede a sale. I'm not an insurance guy pretending to be a data guy. I'm a data guy who went deep on insurance. That's why this works.

Simple. No long-term contracts.

Questions

How is this different from just buying a list?
Lists give you every agency in a state. I give you the 15–30 that are most likely to sell. The scoring is the product β€” not the data.
Where does the data come from?
Dozens of public sources β€” state insurance department filings, NAIC licensing records, carrier appointment data, agency websites, Google Business profiles, review trends, job postings, and social media presence. We cross-reference all of it to build a picture no single source can give you.
How accurate is the scoring?
It's a leading indicator, not a crystal ball. Not every high-scoring agency will sell. But when I look at agencies that have sold in the past two years, most of them would have scored high on these signals 12–18 months before the deal.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. Book a call and I'll walk you through a sample report for your region. If the signals match what you're seeing in the market, we'll go from there.
Do you work with competing acquirers in the same market?
I limit coverage to avoid direct conflicts. If another client already has exclusive coverage in your primary market, I'll tell you upfront.

Stop waiting for deals to come to you.
